Artists Statement:
Pursuing a career in art is what I've always wanted to do but never felt that I had the opportunity.
Besides, I was having way too much fun with accounting. Woo Hoo! But it turns out that life is what
you make it. The only one who never allowed me to paint for a living was me!
In 2006 I lost my mind, quit my job and started painting full time with pastels. I especially like the
way pastels refract the light, but I'm also experimenting with acrylics, oils and gouache liquid
paints.
Either at home in Corrales, New Mexico, or during my travels both near and far, I paint outside as
much as possible. The rest of the time I'm at the easel by my living room windows in full view of
the beautiful Sandia Mountains. It is my passion to continue to paint the best I can for the rest of
my life.
Thanks very much for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy.
